- Don’t miss the upcoming prime-time concert special, “An Evening With Elton John and Brandi Carlile” on CBS April 6th. It will cover their London Palladium concert and also have interviews and footage of the stars recording their newest album.
- Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has joined Tina Fey’s (30 Rock) comedy pilot starring Tracy Morgan. Radcliffe will play Aurthr Tobin, a filmmaker documenting Tracy’s football player rehabilitating his image.
- Gray Media stations are adding a new 2 p.m. weekday newscast called“Local News Live”. This broadcast mixes local news with national and worldwide coverage, with a dash of uplifting stories.
- Chris O’Donnel is set to star in the upcoming 9-1-1 series spinoff “9-1-1: Nashville” this fall on ABC. He plays Don Sharpe, a fire captain and rodeo rider who runs Nashville’s busiest firehouse. Given his experience in “NCIS: Los Angeles”, Chris certainly has the chops for it.
- The cost of Plex subscriptions will increase on April 29th. Monthly Plex Passes are going from $4.99 to $6.99, yearly from $39.99 to $69.99 and lifetime from $119.99 to $249.99. The 4th Generation Tablo, however, remains subscription-free.
